Why Red Peony exists
Red Peony is not a brand about cancer. It is a brand for women who keep living during and after treatment, and who still want to go swimming.
After breast surgery, an ordinary swimsuit stops working. A breast form has nowhere to sit, armholes are cut right where the scars are, and a scoop neckline shows more than you'd like. Most "mastectomy swimwear" fixes that by looking like it came from a medical supply catalogue. We wanted swimsuits that do the practical job and still look like swimsuits.
Who is behind it
[[TODO: Olga — your name, a photo, where you're based, the year Red Peony started, and in a few sentences why you started it. Your own words matter more here than polished ones.]]
How our swimsuits are designed
Every suit starts from the same three questions: will a breast form stay put, will the chest wall and underarm stay covered when you lift your arms, and will it still feel comfortable after an hour in the water? [[TODO: how designs are tested — fittings, customer feedback, who makes them]]
We also sell on Etsy, where customers rate us 4.9 out of 5. [[TODO: confirm you're happy to mention Etsy]]
What we believe
You don't owe anyone a brave face at the pool. You just need a swimsuit that fits.
